HOW IT WORKS

How Peptide Test Fund Works

Start a test, join one already in progress, share the cost, and follow the sample through independent laboratory testing and published results.

Two Ways to Get Started

Whether you already have a sample you want tested or simply want to help fund a test that’s already open, getting involved is straightforward.

Have a sample you want tested?

Create a new testing project, choose the lab testing you want, and decide whether to fund it yourself or invite the community to join.

  • Choose the testing and participating lab
  • Fund it yourself or share the cost

Want to help fund an existing test?

Browse tests already open to the community, choose one that matters to you, and share the laboratory cost with other participants.

  • See what’s being tested before you join
  • Your share may decrease as more people participate

Either way, the goal is the same: independent laboratory testing with results published for the community to review.

From Funding to Published Results

Every project follows a clear path from the initial test request through independent laboratory analysis and public results.

1. Create or Join

Start a new testing project with your own sample, or join an open project already being funded by the community.

2. Fund the Test

Contribute toward the laboratory cost. On community-funded tests, each person’s share may decrease as more participants join.

3. Send the Sample

The sample is shipped directly to the selected lab or sent through Peptide Test Fund for documented receiving and forwarding.

4. Lab Test

The independent laboratory performs the selected analysis and issues its testing results and supporting documentation.

5. Results

Completed results are added to the public Registry so anyone can review the test and its laboratory documentation.

Choose How Your Sample Gets to the Lab

Once a test is ready to move forward, you can send the sample directly to the selected laboratory or route it through Peptide Test Fund.

Send Directly to the Lab

Ship the sample straight to the selected laboratory using the project instructions provided to you.

  • Fewer shipping steps
  • Direct delivery to the testing laboratory
  • Tracking remains connected to the test project

Send Through Peptide Test Fund

Send the sample to Peptide Test Fund first so it can be received, documented, matched to the project, and forwarded to the lab.

  • Sample receipt is documented
  • Project details are matched before forwarding
  • Shipment to the laboratory is tracked

How Funding Works

Each testing project has its own laboratory cost based on the tests selected. You can fund a test yourself or open it to the community so multiple participants can share the expense.

Share the Cost

When a test is community-funded, participants contribute toward the same laboratory bill rather than each person paying for a separate test.

Your Share Can Change

As more people join an open test, the cost can be divided among more participants, which may reduce each person’s final share.

See the Cost Before You Join

Open tests will show the current contribution amount and funding progress before you participate, so you can see what the test costs and how much has already been funded.
